I'm the guy who will pull off the highway and run back up the road to grab an interesting piece of scrap iron lying along the shoulder. By the time I get back to the truck, I'm planning how to incorporate this find into a sculpture.
My clients want unique solutions to problems ranging from safety guard rails to filling a bare space between two shrubs in the back yard. Folks like having one-of-a-kind creations that reflect their style as well as mine. I like to include unexpected details in even the simplest iron sculptures. The addition of a bit of stained glass or brass can add dimension and life to a piece. I want to create that piece of art that a client will show off to every visitor to their home. The thing I always like to hear is "Hey, come look at this...."
If I'm not working in the shop, you may find me somewhere on the farm fixing a fence or clearing a trail. If the canoe is gone from it's rack, you won't find me at all.
